Stacked Actors Video Footage
Are you sick of this yet. No thought not. Here is a clip of Stacked Actors performing The Gossip. Sorry the footage is so dodgy with strange colours. It's not me trying to be arty farty with the editing, just it was very dark and the footage is rubbish. Anyway Heidi and her boys did well considering they had not had a practice together until the night of the gig, with Richard Gibbson stepping in on the bass at the last minute. Enjoy.

Thanks to all of you for coming!!! Evening of music a great success.
Thanks to all of you who came. It was a great night with well over 100 in attendance. Chesney Hawkes and Tim Westwood send their apologies for not being able to attend. Bono and Bob Geldof are still upset we didn't tell them about the last minute change of venue. They were in Pontypool till well after midnight!
We will post some dodgy video clips and photos from the evening soon, although it was a bit dark in the hall so we are not sure how good the video will be now but never mind it was great fun. Wow, we even got asked to play at 2 upcoming events as well (that's a first for Ed and the Cwmbrans - people actually inviting us to play!!!!!!) Thanks again for coming and having a good time people:) Thanks to Death by wookie and Stacked Actors. You were all great. Thanks to Jamie Mann for letting me use his amp and thanks to Gibbo for helping out with sound and recording us.
Thanks - Jonny

Shock!!! Calling Semantics pull out of gig!

Professional Audio recording and DVD production of the gig for everyone to take home!!!
Pro Audio Recording
Ace Tomato Recordings (A.K.A. Gibbo) are offering each band member from the five bands playing, a professional quality recording of their set. It will basically make us all sound better than we really are (That's how the Spice Girls do it). It's £25 per person. A bargain (would usually cost you thousands) Visit marshmellowhead.com - follow the Ace Tomato link for more info. Here are some examples of Richard's work:
I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor - The Artic Monkey's song cover by The Cheeks.
Are You Gunna Go My Way? - Lenny Kravitz' song covered by The Cheeks at a wedding.
Sunshine Of Your Love - The good Cream song, again a cover by The Cheeks.
Jonny B. Goode - Cover by Edd and the Cwmbrans
Pro DVD Production
digitALLSTARS (A.K.A Jonny) are offering a professional DVD production of the entire gig to anyone who wants a copy (Bono and Peter Andre have already got their orders in). The DVD will come complete with sleeve art work, graphics printed onto the front of the DVD itself, chapter menus with professional motion graphics and an extras section complete with picture sideshows of the gig. It will be put together in widescreen format. I will be using professional editing equipment like Apple Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, Apple DVD Studio Pro, Soundtrack Pro etc and will use the pro recordings that Richard Gibson puts together. There will be at least 3 digital video cams filming the entire gig to catch everything from all angles and really get the atmosphere. I can't do it for free but will give everyone a copy for £15. Me and Rich are not making money from this as it would usually cost a hell of a lot more to put this kind of thing together. It will be great fun and cool for everyone to have a really great looking and sounding DVD to look back on in years to come. Here are some examples of my work:
Ed and the Cwmbrans "Johnny B. Goode" (Using Gibbos Pro Audio Recording)
Sabrosa "Let it Free Music" Video
Sabrosa "Sympathetic Symphony" Music Video

stereogum presents...OK X: A Tribute to OK Computer.
Nothing to do with our iChooons party. It's been 10 years since Radiohead released OK Computer and the brilliant Stereogum is celebrating with some cool free MP3's. Go get 'um.
"To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Radiohead's OK Computer we've asked some of our favorite musicians to participate in a song-by-song covers compilation. Indicative of the album's continued importance, each invitee jumped at the chance; the results are personal, intense, tellingly various. Slow down, dig in, enjoy. But note: we did this all legal and everything, so we can't keep these up forever...get 'em before someone else does. Ambition makes you look pretty."
